Flexible and guaranteed fee structure.

Are we the cozy community school that you have been looking for? We believe that when you invest in forest school, you are investing in your children’s future.

Being a community-building initiative, we do not want our learners to be tied to endless fee payments to continue seeing their friends who became their childhood bosom friends and network support. What happens uniquely in our community school (we cannot guarantee it is sustainable forever but we promise to do our best and so far we have done it for 6 years so let’s see…) is that the first fee you pay is guaranteed to be the highest you are ever going to pay in our school.

It makes sense because new learners require the most attention to settle into a unique culture, learn new skills, and build rapport with others. Basically, the well-being and interests of our learners will always be our top priority. The fee you pay reflects the attention and energy invested in them. As they learn the ropes they usually require less and less regulation externally.

Second, when learners are able to self-regulate and socialize better (there are 3 stages - emerging, developing, and secure), and whenever the numbers support it, we will propose a lower tier of fee to you (and adjust as we go). This is part of our ethical fee policy as a social enterprise.

Third, learners who have been with us for a very long time (a number of years) have successfully applied for scholarships (partial or full) that go further to help them continue to attend and will be granted on merit. It becomes a valuable support resource for them, as they grow.

We are grateful to have this community forest school to grow with, that has a Middle (High) School section for teens. Some of our learners have been with our founding practitioners, from 5 to now 13 years old. They still love their forest school sessions!

We can see how forest school practices help to ground ourselves and above all, it is a meaningful and familiar space and comfort.

Together with our unique fee structure, we also have a fixed number of learners to ensure the highest quality of education. Our ability to take in more learners depends directly on the number of qualified practitioners and assistants we have. If you are interested to join, come talk to us! We don’t bite!
